Through stories of mass incarceration, healthcare inequity, displacement, and cultural resistance, the series confronts the policies and power structures that shape the Black experience while honoring the faith and resilience that endure.
No Church in the Wild is a documentary series directed and co-produced by Kamerie ‘Tempest’ Gibson, blending archival footage with remote testimonies from activists, scholars, and community leaders to examine the U.S. government’s role in the systemic erasure of Black life.
The Townhall (Season 1, 2022)
Co-produced and directed by Kamerie ‘Tempest’ Gibson, The Townhall is a roundtable podcast hosted by journalist Brianna Rhodes that brings together diverse voices from across the Black community for candid, solutions-focused conversations on social, political, and cultural issues.
A spinoff of No Church in the Wild, the series explores Black ownership, diaspora identity, class divides, and education reform, creating space for dialogue, accountability, and collective growth.
